On Mardi Gras Day 2018, Streetcar SnoBalls – owned by native New Orleanian Erica Gilliam, rolled out to its first event to begin the journey of introducing North LA to the sweet taste of a New Orleans SnoBall served from the window of a “Streetcar”. It wasn’t long for the folks of Shreveport Bossier and beyond to recognize the difference between a Snow Cone and crave the deliciousness of a Streetcar SnoBall. This initiated the need for more “Streetcars” that lead to the addition of a second Streetcar in 2020 and then franchising in 2022. But Erica wasn’t done expanding so in August 2022 she opened up Streetcar Station in East Bank Bossier, followed by The Swamp – an indoor nerf party space, in April 2023 that allows for nerf parties with SnoBalls! Erica is on a mission to keep the New Orleans craved SnoBall a staple in North LA and beyond!

This free entrepreneurial event will continue with monthly gatherings at Andress Artist & Entrepreneur Center in downtown Shreveport. Each gathering will feature a new monthly speaker and will allow entrepreneurs to gather, connect, work through business challenges, and identify opportunities in the community and beyond.
